Call for Abstracts
The International Conference intends to assess the impact of Laudato Si’ in line with the integral ecological approach adopted by Pope Francis. The conference will provide an opportunity for representatives of the conference to reflect on progress made over the last six years, as well as identifying what still needs to be done to ensure the future of our common home.
The conference will make a reflection on the criteria to understand and respond to the ethical, economic, financial and political global crisis, having in mind that the ultimate challenge of Laudato Si’ is to act and moving away from the “dominant technocratic paradigm”.
This interdisciplinary international conference is for scholars, teachers, and practitioners from any professional discipline who share an interest in—and concern for— care for our common home according to the Pope Francis’s vision for an Integral Ecology in his encyclical letter Laudato Si’. The Conference will therefore seek to bring together representatives of the religions, churches, scientists, civil society, economists and “all people of good will” to dialogue and act together.
Conference Overview
This conference is currently planned as a hybrid in-person and virtual event on English and Croatian. If necessary, it will be moved to a fully virtual format regarding epidemiological situation.

Submitted abstracts on English or Croatian will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee. If abstract is accepted, author can send full text paper, including results, tables, figures and references for a Book of Proceedings that will be published until May 2022.. All submissions should report original and previously unpublished research results no matter the type of research paper you are presenting.
Participants are given the option to present their work at conference either with or without an accompanying full written paper. Formatting instructions will be available at the time of the conference.
Anyone wishing to present a paper at the conference should submit an abstract in Word format (500 words maximum).
The Scientific Conference Program Committee will select abstracts for oral presentation.

Invitation Letter
A Letter of Invitation is a proof that your paper submission and registration application are accepted by the conference committee board.
Invitation letters will only be issued once your registration and payment have been completed.

For those who require a visa, please note that the Organizing Committee has no control over the visa application process, or the decision of the visa adjudicator in the embassy or consulate. The conference cannot be responsible for actual visa issuances.
Indexing / Supported by
- Each Paper will be assigned Digital Object Identifier (DOI) from DOI Directory
- The proceeding shall be submitted to Google Scholar, DOAJ etc. for Indexing.
- The Printed Proceedings will be published with ISBN Numbers – print and open access
