Patti M. Valkenburg

Dr. Patti M. Valkenburg is a University Distinguished Professor at the University of Amsterdam. Her research interests include the cognitive, emotional, and social effects of media and technologies on children, adolescents, and adults. In 2003, she founded CcaM at the UvA, an interdisciplinary research center on youth and media, which has been recognized as one of the largest and best research centers in its kind worldwide.
