Since the International Interdisciplinary Scientific Conference READER AND READING IN THE DIGITAL AGE will be held online, participants will deliver their papers orally.

The Conference programme comprises the outline of scientific and professional papers from the following areas within the framework of the topic Reader and Reading in the Digital Age:
Information and Communication Sciences;
Sociology;
Psychology;
Education Science;
Political Science;
Education-Rehabilitation Sciences;
Philosophy;
Theology;
History;
Ethnology and Anthropology;
Religion Sciences (interdisciplinary field);
Croatology;
Education Sciences (Psychology of Education and Upbringing, Sociology of Education, Anthropology of Education, Neuroscience and Early Learning, Pedagogical Disciplines);

Working languages are Croatian and English.

Registration is open from 1 May 2021.
Deadline for abstract submission is 25 September 2021.
Speakers will be notified about the acceptance of their abstracts by 10 October 2021.
Final papers for publication in the Conference proceedings should be submitted by 20 December 2021

The abstract should comprise 300 to 350 words including the title and a text outlining the theoretical framework, research problems and/or hypotheses (research paper), overview of theories (review paper), research methods and three to four key words. If the language of the paper is Croatian, the abstract should be provided in Croatian and English. If the language of the paper is English, the abstract should be provided in English only. Abstracts should be aligned with the standards of standard Croatian/English (language edited). Following the review process, a book of accepted abstracts will be published on the Conference website.

Note: It is possible to register abstracts in English and Croatian.

Oral presentation of an individual paper in the allocated duration of 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion.

The Conference will be scored by the Croatian Chamber of Psychology (Hrvatska psihološka komora) and the Croatian Chamber of Education Rehabilitators (Hrvatska komora edukacijskih rehabilitatora).
The Conference has been registered at the Agency for Education and Teacher Training (AZOO).
