Dnevnici medija jedan su od načina na koje istraživači mogu doznati koliko vremena sudionici istraživanja provedu koristeći određene vrste medija. Često onima koji ih popunjavaju služe kao dobar uvid u to koliko vremena provedu koristeći određene digitalne sadržaje i uređaje te mogu na temelju tih uvida odlučiti i početi mijenjati neke svoje neželjene navike.

Za naše smo istraživanje izradili Dnevnik medija koji je prilagođen našem istraživanju, a naši ga mali sudionici već ispunjavaju. Zanima nas koje vrste uređaja digitalne tehnologije djeca koriste tijekom dana, što na njima rade, zašto na njima rade određene vrste aktivnosti, gdje se nalaze dok koriste uređaje te s kim su dok ih koriste.

Veselimo se zanimljivim podatcima koje ćemo dobiti iz Dnevnika medija.

Media diaries are one way how researchers can know how much time participants spend using certain types of media. They often serve as a good insight into how much time they spend using certain digital content and devices so they can make decisions based on those insights and start changing some of their unwanted habits.

For our research, we have created a Media diary that is adapted to our research, and our little participants are already filling them out. We are interested in what types of digital technology devices children use during the day, what they do on them, why they do certain types of activities on them, where they are when they are using the devices and who is with them.
