Andrew i sur. (2020) istraživali su iskustva djece s online učenjem i školovanjem tijekom pandemije bolesti Covid-19 u Ujedinjenom Kraljevstvu gdje su škole zatvorene 20. ožujka 2020. Cilj je istraživačima bio ispitati razlike u iskustvima online školovanja kod djece koja žive u bogatijim i one koja žive u siromašnijim kućanstvima. Istraživanjem su obuhvatili 4000 roditelja djece u dobi od 4 do 15 godina. Rezultati su pokazali da su djeca provodila prosječno pet sati na edukativne aktivnosti. Djeca iz bogatijih kućanstava su imala bolji pristup izvorima i pomoći u učenju od nastavnika i škole te su u prosjeku provodila više vremena na edukativne aktivnosti tijekom online školovanja u odnosu na djecu iz siromašnijih kućanstava. Više od polovice roditelja (60%) je izjavilo da je imalo poteškoća u nastojanju da pomognu svojoj djeci tijekom online školovanja te da su njihova djeca u prosjeku za zabavu koristila uređaje digitalne tehnologije oko pet sati dnevno.

Children’s learning during the Covid-19 disease pandemic
Andrew et al. (2020) investigated the experiences of children with online learning and schooling during the Covid-19 pandemic in the UK where schools closed on 20th March 2020. The aim was to examine the differences in online schooling experiences among children living in the rich and those living in poorer households. The study included 4000 parents of children aged 4 to 15 years. The results showed that children spent an average of five hours on educational activities. Children from richer households had better access to resources and learning support from teachers and schools and on average spent more time on educational activities during online schooling compared to children from poorer households. More than half of parents (60%) said they had difficulty trying to help their children during online schooling and that their children used digital technology devices for about five hours a day on average for entertainment.
