The summer school in Šibenik brought together prominent experts in the field of bioethics and human rights with the aim of educating young people about the important bioethical challenges of today that threaten human dignity. The school’s program was designed to empower participants to successfully face these challenges. This year’s topics, covered through interactive lectures, workshops and debates, included the right to life, palliative care, population control, demography and surrogacy.
Our assistant Poslon from Digit-HeaL held two presentations in Croatian entitled “Introduction to bioethics” and “Contemporary Challenges of Surrogacy”.
The World Youth Alliance is a nonprofit organization that brings together young people between 18 and 30 from various fields of interest. Its mission is to promote and preserve human rights based on unalienable human dignity.
