From February 25th to 27th, a research assistant from Digit-HeaL, Anamaria Malešević, participated in the STI (The Social Trends Institute) Expert Meeting at University Campus Bio-Medico in Rome, organized by Professor Marta Bertolaso.
The meeting, titled Healthcare 5.0: New perspectives in healthcare innovation and assessment, brought together experts from the fields of healthcare, economics, industry, law, artificial intelligence, and digital health. Assistant Malešević presented the paper Healthcare 5.0 paradigm shift: empowered patients & democratisation of healthcare co-authored with Assistant Professor Čartolovni.

This meeting provided an opportunity for exchanging experiences from Europe, the USA, and Canada, as well as presenting conducted research, projects, and results. During the meeting, there were discussions covering topics such as the future of healthcare, sustainable development, and the integration of digital technologies. As a result of the meeting, a publication will follow, containing further reflections on the discussed topics, challenges, and potential solutions.
